What is it Biblical Counseling?
relies exclusively (or nearly so) on the teachings of the Bible,
We will:
- Discuss biblical verses or parables, or other aspects of Christian teachings to address mental health concerns.
- Receive guidance or advice that is based specifically on the teachings of the Bible.
- Respect the client’s religious beliefs without trying to change them​​.(excluding beliefs that are harmful to the self or
others),
- not attempt to proselytize
or convince to conform to therapist beliefs, although there may be mention their faith if it is
relevant to a discussion..

What are the benefits?

identify patterns that cause conflict or disconnection and replace them with healthier ways of relating. Sessions may focus on improving how you communicate during disagreements, rebuilding trust after a rupture, or setting shared goals for parenting, intimacy, or life transitions. We practice skills like active listening, expressing needs clearly, and understanding each other’s emotional responses, all with the aim of helping your relationship grow in a more connected, intentional way.

My Approach

with couples, so together we identify the patterns that cause conflict or distance in your relationship. The first step is to improve communication, rebuild trust, with set goals that reflect what you both want for the future. My goal is to help you feel more connected and confident in navigating challenges, with clear strategies like reframing negative thoughts, listening actively, and setting
expectations that
work for
both of you.
